Music to listen to

[April 2022 update: currently, the useful link in this post is the one for the Crimson Petal voice lines. Back in 2020 when lockdown was beginning, Denise created MIDI files for all the voice parts of Now sleeps and A spotless rose and the other two pieces in Paul Mealor's set. At the same time, Derrick made videos of himself conducting performances of the pieces, for us to sing along with in lieu of meeting for rehearsals. Follow the link and you will find all that material. It's very helpful for note-learning.

You may find that your web browser won't play the MIDI files for you. It will, though, let you download the files, and once they're downloaded your device will probably have some way to play them. Alternatively, some of the MIDI files (recognisable by the .mid filename extension) have matching .mp3 files, which your browser will play more easily.]

For any of us who find Spotify a bit troublesome, I've put audio tracks of
  • the Five Hebrew Love Songs
  • When David heard
  • The blue bird
  • The Mealor "Now sleeps the crimson petal" set
on-line at this address: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lyBqfHckfVvyHnBPpSduz57KAKr3Qoqv
You should be able to download them or to listen to them direct through your browser.

You can download our sheet music in PDF format here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=19bTH3j7fKacXvL6shVFsgyzmRJCCgIT8
You should be able to use those on a tablet or suchlike, if that's convenient for private practice.

Denise's MIDI files of the individual Crimson petal voice lines are here:

You should be able to play these direct from the website, or you can download them if that's more convenient.

Likewise, Denise's MIDI voice lines for the Drowned Lovers are here:
