Claire's notes for 22nd October

Morning all, it is raining outside so here are some notes to cheer you on your way.

We began with a jolly African round from Ol

Bog off

sounded pretty good actually. Remember the fermata (Sp?) over the rest at the end of page two and the 'big end' rit. I think it is a matter of watching Ol which will be easier when we have the Russian words in our heads.

Deck the Hall (that's hall singular btw - a carol for these credit crunch days)

we basically just note bashed this so there isn't much to write in the notes. Ensure that runs are accurate. It was very loud/verging on scary :-)

Audivi the new one by Tallis.

Again just note bashed really so not a lot to say. It is written AATB so Sops sing the top line. It isn't really very low so don't panic. You just need to keep counting and it is fine.

That's about it really. Note bashing means that there weren't many notes to make...if you see what I mean.

Anyways, I hope those who are sick are feeling better.
Enjoy the wet day
Claire
