Here's how you post
This post began as a simple e-mail - just plain text. The trick is to
e-mail it to a particular address. If we were using this blog for
rehearsal notes, then the note-taker simply has to write up the notes as
if they were going to e-mail them in the normal way, and then send the
e-mail to the "blog posting" address - which I can tell you - instead of
sending to our usual group e-mail address.
The only catch is that you'll have to write your notes as plain text in
the body of your e-mail. Attachments (and therefore Word documents)
won't work.
How about people who don't want to be bothered with a blog? If I get a
list of their e-mail addresses, then I can arrange that every new
posting to this blog is also e-mailed direct to them. That way, they
won't see anything different from how things work at the moment.
